Chocolate Truffles

A quick dessert recipe with just two main ingredients. A hit recipe specially for kids.


  • 250 grams dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 cup desiccated powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder


Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler, keep stirring the chocolate in frequent intervals.

Once the chocolate is melted let it cool down a bit and add vanilla extract to it.

Add half cup of condensed milk to the melted chocolate and mix well.

Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes so the mixture is hard enough to make truffles.

Take a small portion of mixture and make 1 inch size balls of it.

Coat the chocolate truffles with cocoa powder, desiccated coconut, crushed walnuts or any nuts of your choice.
